January 2024 and on

Kaytence graduated high school
Summer 2024 - We learned to laugh again
Summer 2024 - The Netherlands
David told us to take a trip, so we did -2024
Jack and Kaytence went to college - 2024
January 2025 - Jack began to experience symptoms for the first time. Scans revealed his tumor had grown into the motor cortex. His left leg and arm developed slight weakness and odd sensations.
March 2025 - Jack started a newly FDA approved drug to inhibt his tumor
2025 - Chatham and Kayley announced pregnancy
Kaytence got engaged!

Fall 2025 - Jack's symptoms increased and moved to his face, so we began a new treatment at a new facility in California.
Fall 2025 - I began dividing my time between Ohio and California to help Jack navigate all the appointments.
December 2025
Ricky and Kaytence got married

2025 - Mak's Alopecia acted up again.
2025 - We had a friendly intervention and helped him shave.
2026 - Chatham and Kayley welcomed my first grandbaby, and I became "Omi"
(Short for Naomi, taken from Ruth 1:20)
2026 - Jack's doctor has been focusing on his improving his immune system, and we're seeing results. More significantly, though, is the growth in his walk with the Lord. God is doing a good work in him, and we've had many opportunities to share the hope that we have because of the gospel.
2026 - A millimeter is normally a very small measurement. However, when it refers to the amount of change in size of a tumor in your brain it is significant. Jack's June MRI showed more than a millimeter reduction in size (measurements in the photo are not precise), both in height and width. The doctor at Cleveland Clinic said his scan looks really good and to keep doing what we've been doing. The extra treatment in California has been beneficial!
2026 - We took a family trip to Scotland and were blessed to be together.
Also notice Mak's hair has mostly returned.
2026 -In August, after much prayer, Jack and I moved to California. God answered many prayers and made it abundantly clear that this was His plan.
